Early Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Golden Gardens Thursdays

Block You Like A Hurricane came out swinging tonight behind the strong arm of Dave. Dave has a great ability to leap, jumping higher than anyone on the court. He had his way at the net, spiking the ball left and right. He was wrecking havoc all night, even making key blocks down the stretch to gain a 2-1 win over a tough "Sets on the Beach." Great job tonight Dave!

Bo was a stud tonight, dominating the net. He made sure no one would have a free spike or even a pass for that matter. Bo was able to put his stamp on the game by suffocating all offensive tries by the opponent. What was the most impressive thing about Bo's performance was his willingness to sacrifice his body to stretch out and save balls. Great job tonight Bo!

The wind whipped, the balls flew, and teams fell as we finished off the regular season at Golden Gardens Thursday night. It was a rough night for many, but not for Anne Buher of BYLAH 2.0. The wind was a major factor in tonight's matches but Anne wasn't phased. She had approximately 20,000 amazing serves and made it look easy. Whether she was 10 steps back or right at the line, or serving with or against the wind she GOT IT DONE.
Not only can Anne serve the ball like no other, she is also a leader-vocally and by example. She is encouraging to her teammates, keeps a positive attitude, and works hard enough to give Kerri Walsh a run for her money. Great job, Anne Buher! And congratulations on winning player of the week!

Helen had a great game tonight and proved that she was a top tier passer. Her performance led Dinks All Around to their first volleyball championship. Helen was everywhere on the court tonight bumping the ball perfectly to the setter. She even had no problem digging the spikes from the opposing team. Great Job Helen!
