During last night's match against Can We Lower the Net, Marissa served them up hot, and layed them out cold with a string of at least 6 serves! But not only was Marissa a threat on the serving line, but she was also a passing machine, making it easy for her team to set up their two power hitters. This was an exciting match to see because both teams showed incredible fight and executed excellent volleyball skills. Marrissa was an essential role in Block You Like A Hurricane's success and I can't wait to see what she brings to the court next week!
Block You Like A Hurricane came out swinging tonight behind the strong arm of Dave. Dave has a great ability to leap, jumping higher than anyone on the court. He had his way at the net, spiking the ball left and right. He was wrecking havoc all night, even making key blocks down the stretch to gain a 2-1 win over a tough "Sets on the Beach." Great job tonight Dave!
