The best matchup of the day was top seeded Fear Boners against the lower seeded, but highly regarded, Lawn Wranglers. This game was back and forth throughout, with offenses trading touchdowns on most possessions. But the play that made all the difference was made by Spencer Wozeniak. Late in the first half, with the Lawn Wranglers leading by a touchdown, Fear Boners were driving for what looked like would be the tying score, setting them up to take possession to start the second half, and get out in front. But Spencer had other plans, jumping in front of a pass near the goal line and making a huge interception that he returned all the way for a touchdown and a two score halftime lead. In the second half, the Fear Boners kept fighting, but ultimately it was too much ground to make up as the Lawn Wranglers emerged victorious.
