After the Denver Donuts made a statement in the spring, winning two championships, some were questioning if the Lawn Wranglers were still the best team in Underdog. But the summer season once again brought the Lawn Wranglers greatness to light. Alfi led the way, bringing back memories of Chris Grady as he had a huge safety in the championship game that turned out to be the most pivotal play in a 52-44 victory.

In a classic opening day match up, the Lawn Wranglers outlasted Malicious 62-58. In a game where neither team got a defensive stop, you might think that the teams were scoring easily but that was not the case. Craig Rader had five touchdown receptions, almost all of which were in the back of the end zone, and each required a great deal of concentration in order to secure the ball and get a foot down. Having a go to player like Craig is one of the reasons the Lawn Wranglers remain a serious contender for the League Championship.
