Fall Co-ed Flag Football at Juanita HS Thursdays

In a game that was so back and forth that it took 2 overtimes to decide it, Cory Legg pick off a pass near the goal line to preserve Sign Up Digitals 62-54 win over XXX Coverage. XXX had a lead through most of the 2nd half, but Sign Up scored a touchdown with 18 seconds remaining, then tied the game with a 2 point conversion. The conversion catch was also made by Legg. In OT, both teams scored a touchdown and conversion on their respective first possesions. Sign Up then had the ball first in the 2nd OT and scored the TD + 2. XXX got the ball and on the 2nd play from scrimmage, a tipped pass went into the hands of Mr. Legg. He secured it while falling to the wet turf and the game was over. Aided by Cory's outstanding performance, Sign UP Digital advances to next weeks semifinal game and a possible meeting with destiny. Congratulations Cory and Sign Up Digital!

This weeks player of the week goes to Liz Smith and her outstanding play in every position she played. In at QB, 2 TD passes, in at reciever 2 TD catches, in on "D" 2 INT's. Liz was a team by herself on this night creating mayhem for the for her opponent. Great playing Liz!

POTW: Joe Westbrook

This weeks player of the week goes to Joe Westbrook and his outstanding defensive contributions. He was all over the place on offense making great catches and moving the chains. It was on defense that he where he sealed the deal with two Pick 6's that he had to run the full length of the field to the endzone. Great job Joe!

This weeks player of the week goes to Brandon Maggs of SignUpDigital. Brandon was on fire as he lead his team at the QB position. Brandon reeled in all his teams points by finding his receivers all over the field, and racking up tons of passing yardage. Great job Brandon!
