Win 55 - 30 |

On a cool night that was perfect for football of any type, Rip It avenged their Jaunita summer league Championship game loss, winning the Fall Juanita Co-ed Championship.
The perennial power of the Co-ed division was able to comeback from a halftime deficit in the semifinal game against Chaos to win 22-14, then ran past Sign Up Digital 55-30 in the Championship game. Sign Up Digital got to the final by defeating Team POW 33-22.
Rip It started the night in a sluggish fashion as the offense sputtered and was held scoreless in the first half of the semi's against Chaos. On the first drive of the 2nd half Chaos drove the length of the field and was poised to make it 20-0 when Virginia Kim came up with huge interception that seemed to light a fire under Rip It and change the momentum of the game. After the pick, Matt Kim seemed to get untracked and threw 3 TD passes, the game winner to Ross Watkins. They were also able to convert on two 2 point PAT's. The defense also seemed to pick it up, with constant QB pressure provided by Melissa De Roos and great pass defense by Adam Kiyonga, John Jones and Tommy Watkins.
In the other semi final, Sign Up Digital was led by Tim Gillette's 2 touchdowns and one interception as they held off the up start Team POW.
In the Championship game, Rip It continued the run they started in the 2nd half of the semi final game as they scored early to take the lead and never looked back. Once again, it was Matt Kim connecting with his fine receiving corps and the great zone defense and relentless pressure forcing the Sign up QB into costly turnovers.
Congratulaions to Rip It on another Underdog Co-ed championship.
Virgina Kim provided the boost that powered Rip It to the Co-ed championship by making a huge interception in the semi-final game. With Chaos driving for a touchdown that would have put them up 20-0, Virginia stepped in front of the intended receiver and intercepted the pass. That play seemed to change the momentum of the game and from that point on Rip It dominated the 2nd half and then the championship game. Great Play, Virginia!
