New position in kickball? No problem for Maggie Shellenberger. A dominating night behind the plate on defense sealed the highly touted POTW for Maggie after countless putouts at catcher. Maggie started off the night a bit unsure about how she would do, but after the first kicker, she immediately solidified herself in the running for best of the week. Whether she was kicking to the first baseman, or tagging her opponents with her crackshot accuracy kicks, Maggie's teammates never had room to doubt another victory notch. Nice job Maggie!
It didn't seem to matter on Monday night where the kickball flew, Jeff Warren was there. Maybe it was a heightened kickball sense that no one has ever seen, but someway, somehow Jeff always seemed to be in the right spot. His offensive prowess put to rest any worry from his team about a comeback, knocking in hit after hit and running with Usain Bolt type-quickness around the bases. What a way to start the season with a bang! Great game Jeff!
