Amanda is one of the better catchers that i have seen play this game. No bunts were safe while she was back there. The greatest part about it is that she did not even use her arms to get the runners out, it was her foot!!! She was pegging runners and if she could not hit the runner she would just kick it to the first baseman. Great Job!
It's hard enough to catch a kickball as it is but it's even more difficult when it's raining and the ball is slippery. But Matt made it "look" easy. It got to the point that Matt was making the catch and "falling down" just to make it look good. He also was on fire at the plate, getting on base just about everytime he stepped up to the dish. Way to make it that much more interesting for all those watching Matt!
Amanda S had a solid game all around. On offense, she kicked a 3-run triple and scored a run to keep her team in the game at the time. On defense, Amanda played catcher and had several key put-outs, kicking bunted balls into the runners going to first and kicking one to the 3rd basemen for a force out. Keep up the great play Amanda!
