In the men's championship game brought two very well rounded squads with lots of weapons. It was obvious there was going to be plenty of offense as both teams move the ball quickly up the field. Wade Boggs offense had just a bit more luck in the first half taking advantage of quick strikes up the field for touchdowns, and showed some solid defense. Wade Boggs was also able to break-up lots of plays near the goal-line, an area First Round Letdowns usually have no issues scoring from that swayed the outcome towards the Boggs squad. With a one score game going late in the game Wade Boggs was able to widen the margin with a game sealing pick 6 that put them out ahead just protecting the lead and walking with the champ shirts on their backs. Great season Wade Boggs!
This weeks player of the week goes to Chris Behrens and his outstanding play that lead and helped win the chipper. In the championship game Chris was responsible for 5 TD's and also put one in on defense and helped his team win the championship. Great job Chris and great season!
This weeks player of the week goes to Corey Knudtson for putting up monster numbers on offense in both games of his double-header. Instrumental in his teams two victories on the night!
