Third Seeded Turtle Fur had a lot to prove heading into Tuesday night, and prove it they did. In the semi-finals, they dispatched high-scoring Pack-It-In by the score of 48-39. Britt Cora led the way by recording 4 sacks, and making some key catches. In the Championship Game, Austin Roupe led the way on offense, throwing five touchdown passes, but it was a key interception by Kelly Nutt that sealed matters for Turtle Fur. This is not the first championship for this bunch, and it may not be their last, but all of them are uniquely special.
Heading into Tuesday Night, third seeded Turtle Fur needed to step up their game to overcome their regular season performance and come away with the coveted T-Shirts. Austin Roupe refused to let his team lose, throwing a total of ten touchdowns in two victories, leading his team to the championship.
