The manhandlers impressive season was marred by only one loss. They would get a chance at redemption by facing off with Suck My Kick, the team the beat them earlier in the season, in the championship game.
The game was exactly what you would of expected from these 2 heavyweight teams, a slugfest. Anytime the the manhandlers would grab a slim lead, KICK would rally back to tie. Anytime KICK went ahead, the manhandlers would charge ahead. The score would go back and forth many times as neither team could hold on to their momentum. After taking a small lead into the 6th, the manhandlers got a clutch catch by POTW Brittany Kohl to end a late rally and help preserve the championship.

Player of the week goes out to Brittany for her many contributions to a manhandlers championship. Whenever they needed a baserunner or a clutch sacrifice bunt, Brittany came through. Although her most impressive play came in the bottom of the 6th, when she caught a fly ball in RF using her face. That spectacular catch ended the inning and the opponents rally. Great game Brittany!
Sean K. is this weeks player of the week due to his defense. Sean helped out on offense with solid kicks to knock in runs but it was his performance on defense that helped in a 4 run game. Sean made numerous outs but his outstanding stat was turning 2 double plays that helped squash any rally the opponent could muster. With Sean's expertise on defense he has earned the honors of POTW! Great game Sean!
