Sunday's game between Hashtag and Here for the Beer wound up being a game where one person's plate work made the difference in a very tight game. Until the 6th inning things were very tight and both teams needed a break out. With his team needing some insurance runs to create a little run space, Ali Mastan, as cool as the other side of the pillow and with 3 runners on goes opposite field on demand and cleans the bags giving Here for the Beer a little breathing room going into the last inning. Here for the Beer's great pitching and solid defense also played a major role but it was Ali Mastan's perfect hit placement that allowed a little separation. After that the defense locked down and the deal was done. He batted 4 for 4 with a triple a double and almost an inside the park HR but was gunned down at the plate trying to stretch out a triple. Also batted in 7 runs. Great game Ali and we look forward to seeing you in action again soon.
