With the sun back out, all teams were out and ready to play on Sunday at Greenlake! In the most back and forth game of the night, neither Pitch Slap nor Sluggernauts could pull away. The game had four lead changes and both teams were on their toes all game long. Perhaps no player was as important to his team on this Sunday as was Ryan Fahey. After their everyday pitcher had some "nail" issues after a hot shot back at him, Fahey stepped in and picked up where the starter had left off. Not only was Fahey firing consistent strike after strike, but he was crucial at the plate as well delivering a tying run in the the fifth inning. But where Fahey shined was on the mound coming in for the final 3+ innings to seal the win for Pitch Slap, capping the performance off by shutting out the Sluggernauts in the seventh to get the win! Nice job Ryan and Pitch Slap!
