Dawn N. is this weeks player of the week with outstanding play on both defense and offense. Dawn was ridiculous at short-stop gloving everything then gunning folks down attempting to reach first. Feelings were hurt as well as the first baseman's hand who had to catch the rockets Dawn was launching. Dawn also played a key role in her teams 11 run 7th inning with a 3 run homerun giving her squad enough insurance runs to win 19 to 15. Great game Giants, and excellent game Dawn!
This weeks hailed player is Liz G. for her outstanding and text book defense. In a game that only rendered a total of 9 runs, it was all about defense. Both teams struggled to find holes in the field with both teams playing with lockdown defense. It was Liz G. who was able to help her team get the win with a game sealing double play. Great game to both teams and their defenses, but it is Liz G. who gets recognized for Player of the Week!
