While Garren's team mate was selected as player of the game for his team for what was termed as being the most selfish player on team, I think Garren deserves to be recognized for being the most un-selfish player of the day. With his team up 9 runs in the ball game, Garren had a chance to record an out at home if he chose to hit the young lady attempting to score which would have been well within his rights to do so, he calmly held the ball and allowed an uncontested run.
