In a game that was hard fought from the outset, Matt P rose to the occasion by playing great defense chasing fly ball after fly ball and providing enough run support by belting two triples and bringing in 4 runs on the evening. What was rather impressive was how humble Matt was as he didn't want too much credit as he thought his contributions to his team's efforts were no big deal. To him, just another day at the office.
Manning the hot corner for Whiskey Business, Emily was put to the test today. Screaming liners, hot shots and wicked grounders were constantly kicked her way. Emily was up for the challenge though. She wasn't afraid to get dirty, laying out to make stop after stop. While her team may not of pulled out the win, Emily impressed both her teammates and opponents with her all out heart and hustle at Third base. Impressive play Emily!
