OUTstanding! That is the best way to describe Mike's play tonight. His fielding was a thing of beauty. Snagging fly balls one handed, gunning down would be bunters and showing off his quick reflexes, Mike put on a one man show on defense. He also turned in what could be the play of the year. A hot shot came right back at him and without hesitating threw his hands up grabbed the liner that seemed destined to land in centerfield. Even the kicker had to give him props for such an amazing play. Great game Mike!
Matthew played his first ever kickball game on Monday, and he came up huge for Grass on the Field. The game was close for the first 4 innings as defense reigned and the game remained tied. Matt started the breakthrough in the 5th though, with 2 RKI's to give Grass on the Field a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
