Michael H. earns this weeks POTW for launching his 7th seeded squad into the championship game with one big kick. Down 3 runs with the bases loaded Michael was clutch kicking a bomb that cleared the bases, and gave him a triple. Michael tied the game up and was the eventual go ahead run in a terrific 7th inning rally, and eventual 2nd place after a great playoff run. Great game Michael.
This weeks POTW is John M. for excellent presence on both offense and defense helping his team advance in the playoffs. John dazzled at the plate with consistent line drives out of the infield and kept the base paths in motion. John also pitched a gem only allowing a few runs, fewer then his teams amount helping his team get the win. Great game John.
Winning isn't everything, especially when it comes to the best performance on the night. Jessica P. was hands down the POTW for her kickball production. On offense Jessica got on base every time (she played a double header) and caught every kick in her direction. I heard kickers talking to themselves saying "don't kick it to her" as they knew it was a auto out if they did. Jessica and her numerous great catches, 1000% kicking average, and speedy base running earns her POTW. Oh yeah, she also the coach! Great games Jessica!
