The Blue Barracudas or as I like to call them the "Blue Machine" is poised to make a serious run at another league title. It's scary how good they have become in just a few short years of being together and their dominance on the diamond is quite evident when you watch them play. From top to bottom this team is crazy rich with talent and Meghan has done a wonderful job of assembling a fine bunch of players. The only thing that can stop them is themselves and based on what i have observed each game, it doesn't look like that will happen. All other teams beware and please bring your A game when you square off with them. Great game Jeff and great win Barracudas.
Monday night's game between Soft Ball and Hard Bats and Blue Barracudas was a good old fashioned USL throw down. They battled for 7 innings and in the end it was the play and hot bat of Jason Pitman that delivered the knock out blow late in the 6th inning. This team is for real, they are veterans to USL and all other teams beware. You best bring your A game if you want to tangle with this squad. I expect to see both these two teams battling for a league title and they are both capable of winning one. I have a feeling that SBHB will be looking for some payback the next time these two teams square off. Great game Blue Barracudas and kudos to Jason.
What a game for Jeff! He crushed a grand slam in the first inning, added a 3-run homer in the 4th, and was on base every time up as his team routed Sandlot Junkyard Dogs 23-9. He did it all with a great smile on his face the entire time despite it being a downpour.
