This season was ultimately dominated by the ladies and gentlemen from the team Move Pitch, Get Out the Way. Homeruns out to right field (over the fence) and inside-the-park homeruns showcased the talent this team has. Their ladies have hitting figured out too with perfectly kicked bunts and solid singles/doubles to the outfield. In the end, there can only be one. Move Pitch, Get Out the Way and star player Ryan Benoit won the championship 13-2 to take the Summer Softcore 2015 Kickball championship. Congrats!
Move Pitch, Get Out The Way! versus Pitches Be Crazy! in the championship. A strong hitting performance in the first two innings really did the trick to win this 2015 championship for Move Pitch, Get Out The Way!. After kicking in nine runs over just two innings, the motivation to comeback and win for Pitches Be Crazy! kind of vanished. Instrumental in the championship win and offensive power was Ryan Benoit. He went 2-4, with two runs, and two RBIs. Congratulations on the dominant performance to win the championship. Of course, with this win, Move Pitch, Get Out The Way! was awarded prizes and selected the $75 gift certificate to Underdog Sports Leagues. And super congratulations to Ryan Benoit for his MVP championship performance and earning the Player of the Week honour!!
Keagan Rodgers hit two monstrosities of home runs on Tuesday, including one that still probably has not hit the ground. Accounting for 3 of his team's RBI's, Move Pitch Get Out The Way advanced behind the strong leg of Rodgers. If this type of performance can be duplicated, look for his team to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Brooke is a line drive machine!!! The pitcher asked her in her first at bat if she was going to bunt... She politely ignored the question and then answered emphatically with a hard kicked line drive down the 3rd base line that resulted in a 2rbi double. That kicked seemed to ignite her team as they broke the game open after that treacherous boot! She also had 2 other line drive base hits.
Ryan Benoit walked up to his first plate appearance with a confident look in his eye and a swagger in his step. With his mighty tree trunks of legs he swung at the first pitch sent his way and sent a careening, mountain of a shot into the hitters friendly right field of Denny Park. The ball just kept carrying until clearing the street past the outfield fence. Move Pitch, Get Out The Way did not look back earning a convincing 19-2 win behind the foot of Mr. Benoit.
Move Pitch, Get Out the Way was on a tear throughout the whole game scoring runs. Their batting average with runners in scoring was much better than the Mariners, which we are all hoping will improve. Along with the offense they played great defense and the best play of the week came from K Stacks in the middle of the game. A line drive was kicked towards third base and K Stacks caught the ball for the first out, then she tagged second base because the runner left early, and then tagged the runner coming from first for the final out of the inning and to complete the triple play! This created great momentum on the defensive side of the game with a play that rarely happens and summed up the great game Move Pitch, Get Out The Way played and is also the reason K Stacks is the player of the week!
Scored many runs and good in the field
